Why The Name?

You may think that a Bible verse is a strange name for a blog. I don't, you see my family and I went to Hamilton, Montana, to plant an Independent Fundamental Baptist Church, but after losing our support we were forced to return home. We returned home back to Georgia on February 20, 2008.

It was a blessing in disguise, my mother who had been battling Alzheimer's for the past few years "fell off of the hill" in May of 2008. I refer to her condition as falling of the hill because her health went down hill so fast it was like she fell off the hill. She passed away on Nov. 7, 2008, almost three years to the day that my Father past away. (Nov. 16, 2005) If we were not forced to come back we would have lost the last few months with my Mother.

This blog is named II Timothy 4:7 because in September of 2008, I was reading this verse; where Paul is telling Timothy he had finished his course; and as I read the verse the Holy Spirit was whispering in my ear, "you're not finished!"

I sit here a little over a month after my Mother's passing, three days into the New year, and vow to finish my course. This blog will be a way for our Prayer Warriors to keep up with our progress.I hope and pray you will join with us and support us with your prayers and any other means the Holy Spirit will lead you in.

We are Co-Labours together.
